A two-pass engine does the work: deterministic header rules settle most emails instantly, and a small language model — downloaded once, cached by your browser — resolves the ambiguous ones on your GPU or CPU.
How classification works →03
Newsletters are grouped by sender so you see who fills your inbox. Hit unsubscribe once and HealthInbox opens the sender’s official unsubscribe link — no scripts, no hidden requests.

FAQ
Yes. HealthInbox reads only email headers (sender, subject, date) through the official Gmail API and classifies them with an AI model that runs inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server — there is no backend that sees your email. The only network call our service receives is a license check containing your Gmail address, nothing else.
On first launch, HealthInbox downloads a small open-source language model (~25 MB) that is cached by your browser. Classification then runs locally — on your GPU via WebGPU when available, on the CPU otherwise. After the one-time model download, classification works without sending any data out.
Yes. The free tier scans and classifies your 200 most recent emails, groups newsletters by sender, and lets you unsubscribe with one click. Pro (10 EUR/year) unlocks unlimited scanning, the paid subscription tracker, and detected accounts.
No. Every Gmail API request uses the metadata format, which returns headers only — the email body is never requested, stored, or transmitted. This is verified by automated tests in our codebase and enforced by the read-only OAuth scope.
HealthInbox detects receipts, invoices, and renewal emails in your inbox, extracts the merchant and amount, and shows an estimated monthly and annual cost per service — without ever accessing your bank account. See find email subscriptions for details.
